On a hot summer day, nothing is more refreshing than a nice, tall glass of ice cold lemonade. As soon as school lets out, it’s a common sight to see kids at the end of their driveways trying to make some spare change with homemade lemonade stands. Something about this citrusy drink is just irresistible. Here are some new spins on this summer classic that will cool you off and keep your taste buds intrigued.
Frosted and Frozen Lemonade
Ingredients:
- 1 can lemonade frozen concentrate
- 1 cup milk
- ½ can (7 ounces) sweetened condensed milk (or more or less to taste)
- 2-3 cups crushed ice
- Grated lemon zest
- Whipped cream
Instructions:
- In a blender, combine lemonade concentrate, milk and enough ice to reach a creamy, thick frozen consistency.
- Add sweetened condensed milk, to taste, and blend until incorporated. Use less for a tart drink and add more for a sweeter drink.
- Pour into a frosted glass and garnish with whipped cream and grated lemon zest

Fresh Peach Lemonade
Ingredients:
- 3 large peaches, pitted and cut into quarters
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup real lemon juice (6-8 lemons)
- Water
Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan combine fresh peaches, 1 cup water and sugar. Cook over medium-high heat until boiling. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Let cool.
- Place in blender and blend for about 1 minute until smooth. Using a sieve over a 2 qt pitcher, pour peach syrup through sieve. Add fresh lemon juice. Fill to 2 qt line with ice and water. Enjoy!

Sparkling Raspberry Lemonade
Ingredients:
- 12 oz fresh raspberries
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice, chilled
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (or to taste)
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 liter (33.8 oz) sparkling water or club soda, chilled
- Fresh mint and ice, for serving
Instructions:
- Put raspberries in food processor until well pureed. Strain into a bowl.
- Whisk water and sugar together in a large pitcher until the sugar has dissolved
- Add honey and mix until blended
- Stir in raspberry mixture and lemon juice then pour in club soda and stir once
- Serve with ice and fresh mint

Skinny Mint Pineapple Lemonade
Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh pineapple juice or a fresh pineapple, diced
- 2 cups light lemonade, such as Crystal Light
- 2 cups lime sparkling water, such as La Croix
Instructions:
- If using a fresh pineapple, add the pineapple to a blender and puree well.
- Measure out 2 cups.
- In a pitcher, combine the pineapple juice and light lemonade. Stir to mix well. Add sparkling water and gently stir.
- In 4 medium glasses filled with ice, add the pineapple lemonade.
- Garnish with lime wedges and mint leaves.
