QDo I need a yoga mat or any other yoga props?
For safety reasons, we do recommend practicing on a yoga mat. The sticky texture will reduce the risk of slipping and sliding. Plus, the cushion of a mat can make the floor more comfortable for seated and kneeling postures. It’s not necessary to have official yoga props at home for most live-streamed classes. Big, solid textbooks can be used for blocks, towels can be used as blankets, and couch cushions can be used as bolsters.
