Your alarm clock rings at 8 a.m. What’s the first thing you do? Eat breakfast! Wrong. Before you even think about doing anything else, you should make your bed. Making your bed every morning eases your mind during the day, makes your room appear tidy, and finally, allows for a good night’s rest.

Now, it’s time to journal! Journaling is perfect for keeping track of your thoughts and daily tasks. To start, open up your journal and divide a page into two different sections. Label one section ‘thoughts’ and the other ‘to-do’ with the appropriate date. Use the ‘thoughts’ section to write down anything burdening your mind.
For example, you can vent about a fight with your boyfriend or how Jessica is annoying you at work.
Next, use the ‘to-do’ section to list everything you need to do that day. Go even further by scheduling a time to perform every item on your list.
