Fall always feels like a fresh piece of paper. It’s a new beginning, where boundaries can be pushed and limits can be heightened. There’s really no better time than the fall season to experiment with your beauty routine and delve into new beauty trends. Get ahead of the beauty game and makeover your makeup bag with some new fall makeup trends so you’ll be glam-ready-before the first leaf changes!
- Metallic Eyes
From runways to magazine covers, gun-metal, shimmery-shaded lids are huge this fall. It’s a trend fit for the bold, and if you’re scared of it-I strongly urge you to swallow your fears and get to sparkling. Steel-inspired shades tend to pick up and emphasize the pigments of the iris. The right shade will make the most of any eye color. This look can be made into a subtle-everyday office look, or can evolve into Oscar-approved glam. It’s up to you and your peepers to decide how far you want to take it.

2. Dark Lips
It’s no secret in the beauty world that fall usually means trading in your pink gloss for a darker, more matted tone. Darker lipstick for fall? Ok, duh…but this season is taking the trend up a notch with deeper, goth-inspired shades. For those not willing to go all out with this one, a dark berry shade is perfect. Or, channel your inner Morticia Adams and let the world know your really up to no good with a deeper charcoal-inspired shade.

3. Keep it Glowing
Highlighting and strobbing has been taking the beauty world by storm via feed-clogging Instagram tutorials-and it’s a popular technique for a reason. Highlighting is a great way to play up and draw attention to your favorite features in a way that looks effortless, even if it took you hours to perfect. We won’t tell anybody your trying. Use a highlighting brush (or save a penny by using the biggest eyeshadow brush you can find) to dust your favorite shimmery concoction along the bridge of your nose, t-zone, cheekbones, and chin. Basically, all the areas where the sun naturally hits your face. Warning: don’t forget to tap off the excess product to avoid looking like a disco ball from Studio 64.Image Source: www.bustle.comGet the Look:Anastasia Glow Kit in That Glow, $40.00, AnastasiaBeverlyHills.com
4. Last Night’s Liner
Have you ever gone to sleep in your eyeliner and woke up pleasantly surprised at its slightly-smudged next day perfection? Maybe you’ve tried to recreate the slept in your liner look for your next night out and it turned out a bit more ‘blow to the face’ than ‘rockstar chic’? This fall is the perfect opportunity for your second chance.
