How to determine your face shape?
In order to measure your face, you require the following things.
- A big mirror, big enough in which you can see your whole face and shoulder area.
- Stand two or three feet away from the mirror.
- Pull your hair back with clips to fully expose your face in front of mirror.
- Make sure your in daylight or under a bright light to get a clear look at yourself
Take Measurements:
Now face yourself in the mirror. Analyzing your face from the side won’t always show the true shape of your jawline and cheekbones, therefore don’t try to tilt your head, keep it straight and focused. Keep your face relaxed and do not make any particular kinds of faces because it will show your measurements differently.
Now look at your face in the mirror and measure yourself by answering the following questions:
- Length of your face?
- How prominent are your cheekbones?
- Is the widest part of your jaw line wider than your forehead?
- What is the widest point of your forehead, compared to your jaw line?
